Dollar’s Strength Will Fade in Medium Term, UBS CIO Says



Nov.04 — Mark Haefele, global chief investment officer at UBS Wealth Management, comments on the outlook for the dollar after the currency strengthened against its biggest peers on concern the U.S. was headed for a contested election. “Right now we’re getting this dollar safety trade, but we really think over the medium term, that will start to abate,” he said on “Bloomberg Balance of Power: 2020 U.S. Presidential Election.”
