The 2016 Republican National Convention is being held at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Delegates of the United States Republican Party selected the party’s nominees for President and Vice President of the United States in the 2016 national election that is going to be held during July 18 to 21, 2016. The Republican National Committee, the convention will host around 2,470 delegates and 2,302 alternate delegates from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and five territories. Cleveland has hosted this election event for the third time, the first since 1936. The Republican Nominee Convenetion approved the party platform in addition to finding the party’s national ticket. A simple majority of 1,237 is required to triumph the presidential nomination. The first ballot of the convention is merely enough for the results of the 2016 Republican presidential primaries.
